Corona Lockdown - Day 6 - 30th March 2020

Its Monday today. There are no signs of it though! work from home has taken off the Monday blues. I am least bothered about whats going on in the news. I am now satisfied that atleast milk man is delivering milk on time. I am now fed up with BigBasket, Grofers and Dunzo. Utilizing whatever I have in store as of now.

Below are the quick summary of today's activities.

Breakfast: Paddu with groundnut chutney

Lunch: Home made Flavored curd. This is a simple recipe of a bowl of curd with crushed dry fruits in it along with honey and elachi powder. I have added pistachios, badam, cashews and raisins. As honey was bit less added jaggery as well. This replaces my ice cream cravings :)

Dinner: Purple cabbage palya with chapathi  . I must thank my brother for picking this vegetable in this crisis . As he says, purple cabbage was the only vegetable available in the supermarket nearby. Otherwise, I had eaten this as a salad along with any starters. Cooked its palya  along with soaked brown chana for the first time.

Sums up my cooking for the day.

Meditations: Attended both the sessions of meditation at 12.00 PM and 7.30 PM. They are the best part of my day so far.

When we are in extreme fear we will in present but miss to be in peace, when we are sleeping we will be in peace but we won't be in present to feel it. Meditation is deep slumber with consciousness at its peak still with maximum relaxation.. today's lesson at its summary.

Work out: It was a 30 minute work out session today with 12-Burpees, 50 - Jumping jacks, 20-squats,  15- lunges, 5- inchworms, 10-knee pushups, 20 crunches, 5 sets of Suryanamaskaras , 5 to 6 asanas. Ended with Pranayama.

Read: I did finish my book Heartfulness- The science of Spirituality. It was a slow read, I have re read many a times the same pages to get continuity. It was a heavy read but worth every word of it. Planning to have a very light read from tomorrow, might choose a easy going one from my book rack.

New Learning: I finished my Udemy course - I did finish two of them. I am planning to take up a course on content writing course on Udemy. I need to see how it goes.

Music: Music will be ongoing everyday while I am working, cooking or working out. I started liking theater songs these days.

Write: No other write ups apart from this blog update :( .

Cleaning home: vacuumed sofa and the big carpet on the hall. Phew!! This was pending from two to three weeks. Done and dusted!!  Attending vessels lying in sink , cleaning kitchen platform and stove are now routine as maid is on a locked down too.
