Corona Lockdown - Day 7- 31st March 2020

Last day of March and end of first quarter 2020. Didn't realize the gap between the new year till so far. February till now its all the Corona stories which sailed us through. The worst hit on Italy, China , Spain and now the USA taking the lead. Howsoever  I try to avoid these news, I cant rule out the forwards I will get on my mobile. Had a chance to talk to a friend from NY, and the situation there is really bad and people are still going out and jogging in central park!!

The usually office tasks while working from home keeps me occupied. I feel I am more of a tele caller. So many calls, I swear so many of them. I had to set up a video call with my team to see if we can recognize each one of them. It was fun indeed cursing Microsoft teams for allowing only 4 faces displayed on screen at a time. In between that , I did get few minutes to go over my checklist.

This was my day!!

Breakfast: Quinoa Pongal ( Made both sweet one and khara one). Had got this pack of Quinoa from Modicare since almost 3 months. Thought I would try this today. As I am at home , I thought I can make it up if this turns out to be a disaster.But this was huge hit.

Lunch: I am used to the bowl of curd with dry fruits as I wouldn't get hungry by noon. Had the same.

Dinner: Chapathi with Chana masala

Snack: Tea and cookies in evening

That was my cooking for the day

Work out: Woah! today I did sweat crazy. Not sure coz of summer ;). Had two sets of the same exercises by increasing their numbers. This time is very tightly scheduled as  I have to cook dinner and sit for live meditation by 7.30 to 8 PM.

Meditate: Did take two of the live meditation sessions. This is the real energy dose to start and end the day.

Read: I started with a light read. "Life is what you make it" by Preeti Shenoy is my book.

Write: I dont have any creative writing today to boast off. But I started the women leadership chain to include the motivating quotes or poems or any write ups with the fellow women employees at office and it is gaining momentum.

Music: There is no time it is off. Even at the time of calls, I keep the volume low. Started listening the instrumental cover songs. They are indeed soothing. Liked the flute version much.

Any New learn: I started a course on Content writing in Udemy. Its a 2 hour course but I am not there yet. But will be finishing soon.

Clean home: Kitchen cleaning , vessels, sweeping and wiping the floor are the only cleaning tasks for today.




Signing off for today, exhausting day from morning 6.00 am till 12.00 am. Waiting for Saturday!!
